Your Guide to the Day

Every great celebration has its own rhythm, and ours is designed to be enjoyed rather than rushed. From the first welcome drink to the final song, here’s a guide to the key moments of the day.

While we’ll do our best to keep everything on time, weddings have a wonderful habit of finding their own flow. So treat the timings below as a guide, relax, and simply enjoy the ride with us.

Order of play

Arrival – 2.00pm

Arrive, settle in, grab a drink and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before the celebrations begin.

Blessing – 2.30pm

We’ll celebrate our marriage with a blessing led by one of our favourite people, surrounded by everyone we love.

Gin & Juice – 3.00pm

Raise a glass with us as we toast the day with a little nod to where our own story began.

Time to Feast – 4.30pm

Good food, great company and plenty of time to relax, chat and enjoy the afternoon together.

Speeches – 6.15pm

From 7:30pm, the lights go down, the DJ turns up, and the dance floor officially opens.

Evening Guests – 7.15pm

The celebrations continue as more friends join us for the evening and the party begins to build.

A polished wooden dance floor under a dramatic, mirror-tiled disco ball suspended from rustic barn rafters, with no dancers present. The disco ball scatters tiny reflections of light across the darkened space, while subtle, colored uplighting washes the timber beams in deep indigo and soft magenta. In the background, blurred fairy lights drape along the walls, adding warm golden bokeh. The camera is positioned low, angled slightly upward toward the disco ball, emphasizing its sparkle. The mood is glamorous and energetic, suggesting an unforgettable party, captured in crisp photographic realism with a cinematic, evening atmosphere.

Hit the Dancefloor – 7.45pm

Something mushy from us with our first dance before the party well and truly get started. Song requests welcome.

One Last Song – 11.45pm

We’ll finish the night exactly how we hope to spend most of it – on a packed dancefloor. Carriages at midnight.

Think black tie with personality – velvet, sequins, satin, sparkle, sharp suits and anything that makes you feel fabulous. Whether you embrace the disco theme with a little shimmer or simply arrive looking your absolute best, we’d love you to feel comfortable, glamorous and ready to celebrate.
