Your Guide to the Day

Everything leads to the dancefloor.

We’ll already have made things official in September, so this day is really about what comes next – celebrating it properly.

Before the party takes over, we’ll be re-doing the I dos with a small gathering, raising a glass and sharing a feast. Then the lights go down, the music goes up and everyone comes together for the celebration we’ve been waiting a very long time to have.

Drinks flowing. Music loud. Everyone together. Let’s have a party.

Order of play

Day Arrival – 2.00pm

For those joining us for the blessing, arrive, grab a drink and settle in before we do some mini I dos.

Blessing – 2.30pm

We’ll already be legally married. This is an intimate blessing, led by one of our fave people.

Gin & Juice – 3.00pm

Raise a glass with us as we toast the day with a little nod to where our own story began.

Time to Feast – 4.30pm

Settle in for a proper feast as the winter sun goes down and Gate Street gets ready to party.

Speeches & Party 6.30pm

A few words, a few laughs… then it’s time get this party started.

Happy Hour – 7.00pm

Drinks on us. Music up. The night is officially underway.

Hit the Dancefloor – 7.45pm

Something mushy from us with our first dance before the party well and truly get started. Song requests welcome.

One Last Song – 11.45pm

We’ll finish the night exactly how we hope to spend most of it – on a packed dancefloor. Carriages at midnight.

Getting to the
Party on Time

Alex likes to arrive early. Victoria thinks “I’ll be there in five minutes” is a perfectly reasonable estimate. Somewhere between the two is probably ideal! So we’d recommend allowing a few extra minutes to park, find your way and settle in before the celebrations begin.

Dress code:

Black Tie… with a Disco Twist.

Think black tie with personality – velvet, sequins, satin, sparkle, sharp suits and anything that makes you feel fabulous. Whether you embrace the disco theme with a little shimmer or simply arrive looking your absolute best, we’d love you to feel comfortable, glamorous and ready to celebrate.
