Tucked away in the beautiful Surrey Hills, Gate Street Barn is everything we hoped for when we imagined our wedding day. A stunning oak barn, cosy winter atmosphere and plenty of room for eating, drinking and dancing the night away.

– Taxis are recommended if you’re planning to enjoy a few drinks.
– Please allow a few extra minutes to park and stroll through the beautiful grounds to the barn.

There’s no available rooms at Gate street. Accommodation is reserved for family & wedding party.

Tip: If you’re travelling from further afield, we’d highly recommend making a night of it. It means one less thing to think about and Guildford is a great base.

Getting from the venue

For many of our evening guests from around Ripley, you’ll probably already have a favourite local taxi company.

If you’re travelling to Guildford or one of the nearby hotels, we’d recommend pre-booking your taxi before the day. While Uber does operate locally, it can be difficult to rely on after midnight.

Tip: Whether you’re heading home or staying nearby, we’d encourage you to sort your travel before the wedding.
